A Thank You Gift

Red was almost getting dizzy as he tried to figure out where to go with the zoo's map. He thought it would actually help him with his sense of direction, but it was like the path directions would change whenever he looked at it.

He sighed, clutching the bag in his hand tighter. It was ironic, considering he was there exactly to thank someone who had often helped him when he was lost…

That General was likely to be there that day, looking at the pandas, considering all the other times they ran into each other there. But seeing as the zoo was almost closing, he worried if maybe he would need to come back another day…

But right as he turned to what he hoped was the way out, he noticed a familiar shillouette in the corner of his eye…

Maybe it was weird for a hero to smile at the sight of his enemy, but he couldn't help but do so.

"Mr. General!"

The General stopped in his tracks, tilting his head to the side.

"I've been trying to find you!" Red quickly pulled out what was inside his bag, revealing that it was a little panda plushie. "Here, for you!"

Despite still being confused, the General's cheeks turned a little pink as he held the adorable, fluffy toy. "Why?"

"It's a thank you for helping me out so much!" Red giggled. "It's probably a weird thing to do, but… Anyway, see you later!"

But right as he said that, he realized he still didn't know which way the exit was. He looked back at the General apologetically.

Just slightly, the General smiled. "I'm leaving already too. So just follow me."

Red nodded and smiled, gladly following along. Perhaps he would need to find him a gift again.
