Whenever he would pull Anzu aside to do a few harmless "experiments" on her, Chai found himself quite charmed by humans and their different reactions to many things.
He was very curious about the way she reacted whenever he touched different parts of her body, or when he kissed her in a different way or in a different spot, or when he bit her, or when he lightly pulled her hair - he found himself wanting to hear her squeals and see her different reactions more and more.
Perhaps what he was charmed by wasn't humans in general, but Anzu herself…
