Himeko had grown used to seeing Howan every morning. And it always made her so happy.

Her apartment felt less empty now. Every morning, she'd wake up to the smell of freshly-made breakfast, and to Howan smiling at her as she said "Good morning!" with that wonderful smile of hers. Sometimes, she'd be close by the window and the way the sunlight would hit her hair and face always made her look beautiful.

Not that she needed that sunlight to look beautiful. After all, Howan had become Himeko's own sunshine. Even if she couldn't bring herself to tell her that...
