Purrs For Smiles

For a good few years at that point, it wasn’t unusual for Ikuto to often feel tired of everything, or to feel frustrated and depressed - life hadn’t exactly been great to him.

And yet, Yoru always had a way - be it intentional or not - of making him feel a little better: be it doing something silly that amused him, or doing little surprises to cheer him up, or purring whenever he was sleeping or when Ikuto patted him with his finger. That adorable little noise and its vibrations were like a spell that always got a smile out of him.
