Out of all the ideas Chiyoko had for the costume themes at the restaurant, Gotou had never expected this one. The first thing he saw when he entered to start his shift was Hina, dressed in a butler suit, holding a maid dress out to him.

"What theme even is this?" Gotou asked, holding the dress with only the tips of his fingers.

"You see, Gotou-chan, it turns out I made some mistakes when writing down what themes we were going to do next, so we ended up with nothing for today. So, I asked for Hina and Eiji's help to come up with something last minute." Chiyoko explained with her usual smile. She was also wearing a butler suit.

"Are you serious?" Gotou asked. "What does this even have to do with any foreign country?"

"Nothing, really. It was just what we could think of without needing too much time to prepare." Hina explained. "And Chiyoko-san thought swapping who wears what would be fun."

"You should get changed. We're opening soon." Eiji said with a smile. He was wearing a maid dress, with a skirt that went down to his knees and tall stockings with black and white stripes. "The bow on the back can be a bit difficult. So call us if you need any help with it."

"I'm not wearing that." Gotou held the dress out in Hina's direction, hoping she would take it back from him. But she didn't.

"Aww, please!" Chiyoko asked, making puppy eyes at him. "Even Ankh-chan put it on!"

"Huh!?" Gotou didn't think Ankh of all people would have been convinced to do that.

Chiyoko pointed to one of the tables behind her, where Ankh was seated while using his phone as always. He was indeed wearing a maid dress as well. Unlike Eiji's dress, his skirt was a little shorter, ending at about halfway to his thighs. And his stockings were completely black.

When Chiyoko called attention to him, he rolled his eyes. Ankh was always in a bad mood, but today he seemed worse. Whatever method they had used to make him wear that, it clearly hadn't made him very happy.

If they had managed to make even Ankh put that on, Gotou clearly didn't stand a chance either. He sighed, then went to get changed.

The day had barely even started, and he already wanted it to be over.
