No matter how many times Xie Lian looked at Hua Cheng, he would always feel his cheeks burn if he looked at him for long enough. If anything, the more times he ran into Hua Cheng, the hotter his face felt.
He couldn't tell exactly why. Maybe it was his attitude. He always had that mysterious smile of his. His voice always sounded so affectionate whenever Hua Cheng talked to him. He never hesitated to put those lips against Xie Lian's whenever he found a reason to.
Maybe it was his hair, which others maybe wouldn't see anything special about, but Xie Lian would often find himself with an urge to run his fingers through it.
Or maybe it was his eye. That eye that Xie Lian could never tell what it saw of so special in him. But regardless, that gaze never failed to make his heart skip a beat.
And yet, despite the growing heat in his face, he also couldn't bring himself to look away most of the time. Only if Hua Cheng caught him in the act, usually smiling right after, would he quickly force himself to look away, and his cheeks would burn from embarrassment.
