Kinshiro felt weird saying it, but he did love En. Despite everything, he did like him and he did help him relax whenever he was working too hard without realising. And he did like living with him.
However, there were days where he had to put his foot down a little harder. It was already 10 in the morning and En hadn't gotten off the bed yet. He was not getting away with sleeping all afternoon again.
Kinshiro headed back into the room and, just as he suspected, En was still asleep. He did find his sleeping face quite cute, but he stopped himself from staring for too long. If En woke up and saw him staring, there would be no end to his teasing.
"Hey, En, wake up." He shook his shoulder. When he only got some groaning as a response, he shook him harder.
He groaned again, but did open his eyes this time. "What is it?"
"Get up. It's getting late."
En checked the time on his phone, then sighed. "It's not that late."
"Yeah, but if you don't get up now I know you'll be getting up at 3 in the afternoon later! And I already let you sleep more yesterday."
“Why are you giving me such a hard time about this?” En didn't seem mad, he instead remained calm. And it helped Kinshiro stay calmer as well. "It's not like we have anything important to do today."
Kinshiro sighed. "Just get up, okay? I'll make you breakfast if you want me to."
En was silent for a moment, but then smirked. And Kinshiro already knew what that meant.
"Fine. I'll get up if you give me a good morning kiss."
Kinshiro's cheeks burned. Everytime he thought he had gotten used to En's teasing and flirting, he was proved wrong.
He cleared his throat, then approached him. He leaned down and kissed his cheek, even staying there much longer than he usually did for cheek kisses.
When he pulled away, En was pouting. "That's not what I meant. I want a real kiss." He pointed to his own lips, and Kinshiro's face burned even more.
He sighed. As embarrassing as it was, this would still be much faster than any other method he could come up with. "Fine. But no more complaining after that."
"Sure. I promise."
Kinshiro took one last deep breath before kissing En's lips, his whole body stiff. En cupped his cheek and all of his muscles relaxed. Kinshiro held his other hand, squeezing it gently and feeling a warmth in his chest.
En pulled away, but with a soft smile rather than a smirk. "Thanks." He sat up, pulling Kinshiro into a hug before kissing his cheek.
Kinshiro hugged him back, nuzzling his neck and rubbing his shoulder. He only let go of him once En stood up.
En stretched and yawned. "You said you were gonna make me breakfast, right? I'll wait at the table." He left the room, smiling back at him before walking out the door.
Kinshiro chuckled before heading out of the room as well. En could get on his nerves sometimes, but he still appreciated moments of affection like that. And he wouldn't want En to ever change those things about him.
